The site currently sits empty. It used to be a Canadian Tire gas station:

Man, Richmond literally can't do any better can they? This is so stock and standard for them. I guess it's fine but my god it's getting boring.

That is definitely a lot of density for that site and with the current road configuration it would be frustrating for any future residents who see it as a location with "quick access" to the 401. Currently there are no lefts from George Appleton Way to go southbound on Keele. I stand to be corrected but I think the distancing between the off ramp and the intersection is too close to have another signalized intersection. So all residents would need to drive up to Wilson, make a left and then make another left onto Keele to get to the 401 (I know this because I used to frequent the Canadian Tire Gas Station on this site). With 300+ residents that's going to be a lot of new traffic movements to be accounted for.

Also I hope they do something about the off ramp intersection too. Crossing Keele with the "double right" lanes from the off ramp is scary as hell to cross. And with the increase in pedestrian traffic there it will be even moreso.

Not shocked to see this area get redeveloped.

Lots of public sector employment in the area whose workers might want to buy/rent close to work. Wilson Station really is not too far away either.

Was just wondering when they would turn over this plot of land yesterday. Nothing too inspiring but looks like a good addition.

This is so garbage, but frankly the architect and developer just came to a consensus that since this is so far away from downtown and no one in the area really cares, let's just put up some generic condo density and it'll eventually get built anyways.

The left turn from Wilson westbound to Keele southbound is constantly backed up.

You’d be better off either to turn north onto Keele and turn around at Wilson, or even to turn right off of George Appleton and get on the 401 at Dufferin or Allen Road.
