Proposed adaptive reuse of a vacant place of worship building in a manner that retains and repurposes those elements that are of historical value and introduces a new addition in order to accommodate 77 residential apartment units. Two below grade parking levels would provide for 107 vehicular parking spaces and 78 bicycle parking spaces. See Folder 16 118643 WET 13 OZ for related rezoning application

For Sale/260 High Park Ave,........http://www.junctioneer.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/260+High+Park+-+Offering+Summary-2.pdf

Holy Moly! A church in The Junction is on the market for $8.95 million.....http://news.buzzbuzzhome.com/2014/08/junction-church-for-sale.html

This church is SOLD and a developer did buy it.. There is a sign on the lot which describes what they plan on doing with it.

I think church conversions in principle are great! Especially ones with a lot of period architectural motifs and ornamentation - this one looks promising. Alas, the devil is in the details.

By TRAC Developments and Turner Fleischer Architects.

Most church-to-condo conversions have been pretty tasteful in this area, but I can't say the same about this one. This looks tacked on, there's no recognition of the church's architecture at all. The abrupt meeting of the old and new is just so awkward.

Does this also include the land of the two houses to the south, or just the church's parking lot behind the houses?
