It's encouraging to see such good work coming from the City.
Overall, this is an elegant, quality design and I'm very excited to see this getting built!

New renderings are updated in the database! The project information has also some changes too! The total unit count decreased from 848 units to 813 units. The overall storey count changed from 60 storeys to 61 storeys. The total height also changed from 199.30m to 196.80m. Finally, total parking remains the same at 97 parking spaces.

The renderings are taken from the architectural plan via Rezoning Application:

I love all the setbacks on the lower this of the building. it's too bad they chose not to continue that design element the full length of the tower. from a distance it will look like just another generic box.

In respect of the new park at 229 Richmond, the City has a 'thought exchange' / survey open right now for people to basically share/rank/rate priorities as to what the priorities for this park are, ie. how it will
programmed.

This is approved actually, so I went by this property as well as Freed's property across the street to inspect. In both cases tenants are still present, except for Crocodile Rock, which it turns out closed in March due to the pandemic. I didn't realize that, I thought it closed due to development ramping up. The things you learn from on-site inspections.

Croc Rock is part of another development, 240 Adelaide W—also ~200m tall. This development will replace the existing firehall.
