We've put up a recent story on the various development proposals in this part of the Mimico-Judson Secondary Plan area of South Etobicoke.

This property is one of several that received positive decisions by the LPAT in 2019, with some revisions since the initial application was submitted.

This one is on the southwest corner of Audley and Portland, just below the D in Block 'D'.

Looking west to the project from Freed's Grand Park Village proposal across the street, what's been approved massing-wise is as per below, now 25 storeys instead of the 26 that were applied for.

Given the owners of this site are a numbered Ontario company, it would not be surprising for this site, now zoned, put up for sale to a developer.

It's a Michael Spaziani special. He almost never builds stuff and really primarily specializes in LPAT hearings. You don't hire the guy if you want to get something built, you hire him if you want your zoning approved at the LPAT so that you can flip it.

New rendering updated in the database. The storey count and building height remained the same; however, the total unit count increased from 385 units to 479 units. The total parking count was reduced from 258 spaces to 255 spaces.

The rendering is taken from the architectural plan via Site Plan Approval submission:

This is a "rendering"? This is bullshit. What is this? Who is Reitz Properties? 1998 called they want their ground floor retail back and tower design back.

The city just sold the southern portion of this site, 'Block 2' in the survey, to Minto.

Hmmm, is this just the sliver of land next to Newcastle street?
