Cantilever forming well underway:
It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the lower cantilevered platform is just something they bolted onto the existing uncantilevered slab. They are using this temporary platform to support the cantilevered concrete forms they are putting above it.

Toronto's underground PATH walking network is being extended under York Street. Long-term work begins Friday, January 4 and when complete will add another connection to Union Station, replace below-ground aging infrastructure in the area and will serve as another way in which the city is reconnecting with its waterfront.
In order to finish the work safely and efficiently, York Street between Bremner Boulevard and Lake Shore Boulevard West will be reduced to a single lane in each direction starting January 4. All lanes are expected to re-open in April 2020. The new PATH extension is expected to officially open to the public in June 2020.
Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. There will be no work Sundays or during statutory holidays. Weekday working hours have been extended to 11 p.m. to help deliver the project on time.
Motorists and cyclists who would normally travel on that portion of York Street are asked to be patient and allow extra time, or to consider an alternative route such as Bay Street or Lower Simcoe Street.
PATH is a network of mostly underground pedestrian walkways that connect many of downtown Toronto's office towers. More information about the current PATH project is available at bit.ly/2AmSubC.
