New to the AIC is this application for 1400-1410 Victoria Park Avenue, which is currently a supermarket, auto garage, and strip plaza on Victoria Park Avenue, west side, running south from Sunrise. For context, this is a few hundred meters south of Eglinton.

Proposed are 1 34s tower at the north end of the site, and 2 12s midrise further south.

Quick Note: The proposal does contemplate replacement of the supermarket one of the buildings though its not clear if the existing or any other prospective tenant is lined up for said space.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see splashed of colour on proposals these days, but why is it always orange?
Supposed to be a warmer colour? I mean red is too angry and yellow is too bright...so they compromise with orange I guess...

....but that does beg the question of why they don't start out with warmer colours to begin with. Oh right, it's cheaper not to. /sigh
