Bit of a clunky beast; but the massing isn't terrible.

The the podium treatment needs to go to red or yellow brick to fit the area better and be less obtrusive.

A bit of a larger map to show that this is between the Laurier campus and the Via station. I know that Brantford was a disaster in the 90s but it has since made a remarkable comeback. I look forward to seeing what is done with the Massey Ferguson site and the Mohawk canal.

This was approved in 2020, and in November of 2021 a heritage building known as the "Crystal Cottage" (c. 1876) at 35 Chatham Street was relocated ~500m to Charlotte Street to be integrated into the property of the Brant County Museum and Archives. The remaining 8 structures within the parcel on Market Street and Chatham Street are all listed in the City of Brantford’s Inventory of Heritage Buildings but will be demolished.
