This site and 124 Broadway were before the May meeting of City Council in the form of a settlement offer.

As part of that now adopted offer...........

These 2 sites have been consolidated and will be sharing a podium.

The 2 threads should therefore be combined.

That's the current thread, and this one:

Offer to Council:

Note that there are multiple changes to both towers. Also lots of other interesting info.

Instead of merging the threads, for the sake of keep the previous separate planning separate… (What were those burgers a million years ago from McPuke's where they had styrofoam clam shells that kept the cold side cold and the hot side hot until you opened the packaging to smush it all together before thrusting it in your mouth? Well, no smushing here) …I have closed the other thread, and this thread can be used to keep track of the combined site going forward. Updated DB file and thread title coming soon-ish!

Amazing, so this block will effectively have 5 identical looking, rather bland towers being built? Wonderful!

Did I detect a note of sarcasm? Just a wee hint? LOL

Hey, at least it's not that IBI disaster at Bayview/Eglinton x 5 !

Don't remind me! I keep gazing at that empty plaza with mixed feelings on what's coming to that site. Either way, I hope this doesn't start until at least one of these current projects is done on Broadway. I can't believe we already have 8 towers being built there.

Submission with the following changes (stats are total for 124 + 136 Broadway)

  • Total residential units decreased from 881 to 860 (includes rental replacement from 77 Roehampton for a total of 206 rental replacement units)
  • Total vehicular parking decreased from 151 to 112
  • Total bicycle parking increased from 881 to 946
