Toronto 1087 Yonge | 120.1m | 35s | Zinc Developments | a—A

New submission (still designed by a—A for Zinc) for a 35-storey mixed-use condo + retail with 235 residential units

Did they get the approval for this height? If this goes through (and with Zinc it's doubtful) why didn't 1140 Yonge (which is a much nicer project) get its original height approved? 1140 got chopped down three floors which aggravates the classical proportions of it. Meanwhile this charmless, architects-Alliance filing cabinet of a bollard goes through??

On the pumpkin: Can we hope it will turn into Cindarella?

Generation Capital for $35M.

Interesting. This isn't the first site they've picked up. They seem to making an aggressive play into the market taking advantage of the financial situation of more challenged players.

Not imprudent.

I wonder what thoughts @ProjectEnd might have.

$189.60 on current, unapproved GFA. Pretty incredible LOL there. Generation have [a lot of] money, but then there's just being stupid with it...
