Toronto 101 Spadina Avenue | 133.95m | 39s | Devron Developments | AUDAX

The 101 Spadina site would be my guess for the property to become a future park that was being alluded to by Joe Cressy in his morning interview on CBC several days ago. A market price for the property has just been established. If the City were to purchase (or expropriate) the site, the land could be merged into the adjoining properties to the north and to the east which are currently Green P lots - which I would assume (but do not know for sure) would already be City owned (unless Green P is operating either or both lots on a long term lease from a private owner(s)).

Agreed that this is the best place for a new park in the area and the most likely candidate, assuming the City assembles the parking lots and 101 Spadina. No point making a big thing of this unless it's a substantial space!

It seems an odd place for a park. Fronting two main streets and so close to Clarence Sq. A better location would be between 197 and 185 Spadina. Eliminate Phoebe Street, which is just a stub here, and you'd have a larger and better located green space.

This location won't be a park.

You've read that slightly incorrectly - that blurb is about the 100 Simcoe application.

Not at liberty to divulge the architect of this yet unfortunately. Apologies...
