Toronto 100 Queens Quay at Sugar Wharf | 117.34m | 25s | Menkes | B+H

It said December, January, February and then it wasn’t there last night. Just in time for dry February.

Some pictures over the last month.

Great pics!

Mostly stocked and ready to go..........with good reason.

The LCBO page for the trades has this to say on the opening:

So make note @mburrrrr no local booze purchases for you on Tuesday!

It seems slowly and quietly the wheels of Sugar Wharf, Phase 2 are moving towards a building initiative. Waiting for sale shoes to drop next.

So I went to the current store today and it was locked. A gentleman was covering the glass with signage indicating closure and the opening of the new store, he pointed east. I walked over to the new store, it was open. They treated me well. Many store employees throughout the store. My glasses were fogged so I looked a bit lost. Several LCBO reps offered help, I congratulated them on their opening and gorgeous new store. I asked for Yellow tail Merlot, I was 3 aisles away, a friendly employee walked me over to the correct shelf. And she seemed to want to talk. They had slated today as the “official grand opening” with upper management but with the threat of the freezing rain and snow few made it there. So perhaps I was one of the first through, and a few others as well. Visit if you can, a new era indeed.

I went on the 4th as planned but forgot my phone and so no pictures. It's very nice, but smaller than I expected.
