That is certainly an answer to the small kitchen, especially for those who live more like the Europeans and purchase food on a daily basis and thus don't need a lot of fridge storage.

nope. To look like Manhattan we would need 40s+ towers lining up Bathurst, Spadina, Jarvis and Parliament.

There's no island. That's it. The end user would have to install their own island if they want one.

It's the same situation at River City. A friend just moved in there and he's shopping around for a large island to make the kitchen usable. He has slightly more counter space than what was depicted above, but not much.

Southcore looks good from the CN Tower area. Most towers have curtain wall cladding and some architectural features to make them unique.
