I recently moved to Canada and settled down in a very nice place in the Vaughan area. I have no problem in moving around with public transportation, but is there a bus, anything, that goes all the way east to Oshawa's Durham college from where I am? I'm planning to start studies there next fall.

Please let me know! :)

The Hwy 407 GO bus goes straight from the Vaughan area to Durham College.

Link to schedule

Depending on where you are in Vaughan, take the local YRT to either York University or Richmond Hill Centre Terminal/Langstaff GO, and catch the GO to Durham College.

I didn't know the 407 route went all the way to UOIT. They should have that route end at the GO train station to make it possible to get to UOIT from downtown.

You can take the 407 route from UOIT to downtown Oshawa, where the train-bus will take you to the GO station. The schedules are timed for a fairly short layover downtown. DRT also offers direct service between UOIT and the GO Station during the rush.
