Live With Culture is a 16-month marketing and events promotion campaign to celebrate Toronto’s arts and cultural communities, running from September 2005 to December 2006.
As a key element of Toronto’s ten year Culture Plan for the Creative City, Live With Culture will raise the profile of arts and culture in Toronto. Our goals are simple: galvanize public awareness and interest in the culture sector, increase audience levels for all cultural activities; and bolster the culture sector, financially and creatively.
From outdoor murals to museum exhibits, from experimental dance to the symphony, from emerging artists and authors to renowned blockbuster events – Live With Culture promotes the creativity that is everywhere in our city. Our broad-reaching marketing campaign is focused on driving people to our web site, Live With Culture, The Ultimate Guide to Toronto’s Culture Scene.’ Artists and arts organizations can submit event listings directly to the site.
Help promote Live With Culture! Every time an arts organization includes our logo and web site address on their promotional materials it helps the entire arts community. Raising the profile of Live With Culture will increase its value and effectiveness and will help you build audiences for your events.
Live With Culture is a collaborative effort between the City of TO culture division and the Toronto Arts Council Foundation.
