You mean The Big Haze!

Go: Good aerial pics here - it looks to me that it was a hot, hazy Summer day
- the type thought about in the 60s era song by The Lovin' Spoonful
"Summer In The City" but they still look good! LI MIKE

thanks for sharing-always love these fly over views..

i especially took note of the relative absence of highways/major thoroughfares crossing through the city in your pics. i think after a visit to calgary and its endless us-style intra-city ring roads/highways a few weeks ago, i am particularly attuned to that part of what toronto does not have!

Thanks everyone! I personally wouldn't want to see a US-style highway network in Toronto but I do believe there has been positive and negative effects of the no-expressway policy. But I don't want this thread turned into another pro/anti-car brawl!

Wow! Thanks for those shots golodhendil. Toronto is indeed quite a beautiful place. I cannot wait to see both Trump Tower's and Shangri La's impact on our skyline from that vantage point.

And yes, Toronto may not have a US-style freeway system, but the freeways we do have are quite a ways busier and larger than most US cities.
