After a long wait, and a summer of construction and landscaping, Teluscape opened yesterday.
Compared to the old non-functional concrete fountain remnant that was there prior, the new look is a thousand times better.
There's an amphitheatre now, which features a constellation map embedded into the concrete pad, and fibre optic "trees" and windmills which glow at night with rainbow effects.
There's a new water fountain maze and a naturalized stream complete with native grasses. All in all, a welcome addition to the OSC that dramatically improves the streetscape in the area.
Kudos to Telus for putting up the cash.
