I don't know if they are being lazy, and rounded up the number of floors for marketing, or whether it has actually increased to 60 - maybe after signing the elevator contract with Otis they figured they could add 3 more floors, but here it is again in today's Star...

The 57 is actually 59 if the two mechanical levels are included. 60 is just a nice round number for advertising purposes.

Close. It's actually 62 if we include a couple of the mechanical levels (65 if you include underground levels :).

The actual building height has not changed (281.545m), although we have added an additional level to the top penthouse (4 levels now) and expanded the spa to three levels now. Long-story short, due to zoning changes, some levels previously not classified as full levels, are now individual levels instead of 1/2 levels (i.e. a mezzanine, plus a couple of mechanical levels). It's just an architectural/zoning thing...

BTW, excavation is going well... the hole in the ground is getting deeper!

That explains it. But at least it lets you advertise it as 60 floors now!

Thanks TT. By the way, it looks like the image is from a webcam on the looking north from the National Club. Is there a public link on the internet that people can look at?

Question for trumptoronto

Is it true that you are adding outdoor terraces to some of the newly released residential inventory? If so, why not add it to all of them?

Also, how did you add a level to the Penthouse without raising the overall height of the building?

thanks for the update, trumptoronto! it is good to have you updating the most interested individuals on the details.
