Looking south from Mavis road. In the upper left, Port Credit is visible while to the upper right the chimney for the Clarkson cement plant is seen. In the bottom right a CP freight train passes over Mavis road, just north of Dundas. Before this was a grade separated crossing it was the site of the November 10th 1979 train derailment. The train was carrying dangerous goods and resulted in a massive fire resulting in the need for a mass evacuation of 200,000 residents.

I had no real shooting plan today when I left the house other than working my way towards the Queensway and Islington area since I hadn't shot that area in a year. Wind and snow squalls trashed that plan but I still managed 32 minutes of flight time and 10.33km travelled.

While heading along the QEW over the Credit river, I noticed that all the pylons on the yet to be opened bridge had been removed and almost all the construction trailers and equipment was gone. I'm not sure when that happened since I don't recall what was there on my last drive across it December 22nd.
