He was known for his expertise in East Asian affairs, critical infrastructure and the use of "bots" online.
Interesting, wonder who he was compromised to- Russia? China? Feels like they're the ones most aggressively taking part in informational warfare.

A senior Royal Canadian Mounted Police intelligence officer who was arrested for allegedly stealing sensitive information supervised an investigation on the laundering of stolen Russian funds, Canadian media reported on Saturday.



Reminds me of that National Microbiology Lab researcher who was escorted out of her lab a month or two ago.

But who really knows at this point. Major black mark for RCMP no matter what - they have been disgraced enough times of late, we should just dissolve the org, raze it clean and start afresh.

As to this one, if there is one case for capital punishment remaining on the books, it would be for (high) treason.
