Question regarding condo registration

Hello all,

I have a question regarding condo registration. I am interested in purchasing a new unit downtown and like Montage a bit. To my understanding, they've recently begun registration but from what it seems, it doesn't look like all units are registered yet.

Question is, how is registration order decided upon?

i don't believe there is a set order for individual units; the entire building is registered much like a sub division.

registration occurs once the Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Affairs plus local and regional municipalities have completed their inspections of each unit, the building itself and facilities. i moved into a soft loft of a brand new building before it was registered. i had to pay a monthly occupancy fee (also known as a phantom mortgage) for about six months before the the building was registered.
