Rob’s family was probably “catholic” because of Renata. Doug’s family is evangelical due to Karla.
Doug Sr’s funeral was at Westway United so definitely not catholic.

A bit off topic, but just noted that the Robert Bielak mentioned above owns St. Helen's Meat Packers in the Stockyards (no doubt inherited just like Deco).

This seems to be a false conclusion, most likely based on Rob Ford having coached at a Catholic high school. There does not seem to be any actual evidence of him, his siblings or his parents being Catholic. On the other hand there is considerable evidence to the contrary - e.g., none of Rob and his siblings attended Catholic schools, neither Rob nor Doug were married in Catholic ceremonies (Randy has never married; I can't find any info on Kathy is this regard), Rob's and his father's funerals were not in Catholic churches, neither Doug Sr. nor his father are buried in a Catholic cemetary, etc.

A guy with an out-of-control ego the size of his fat head can't help himself - I'd be shocked if he didn't throw his hat in the ring. When the Rae NDP Ontario government introduced the photo OHIP card, there was a deadline for replacing the older red-and-white card. Unfortunately, the Harris PC Ontario government got rid of the deadline. This year, the Ford PC Ontario government re-introduced a deadline for replacing the older red-and-white-card, but with a new deadline.

If Ontario had done the same as the Canadian average, the total for Canada would have only been 125,000.
So 195,000 jobs can be attributed solely to Doug Ford. This is the Ford economic miracle that people are talking about.
