Possible Closing of Urban Affairs Library [email]

The Reference Library is not a very good place to put the Urban Affairs branch. The library is already harder to navigate than most and the staff there are not nearly as helpful as those at Urban Affairs. I think a better place to put the branch if they must move it is either city hall, or at Ryerson University.

Ryerson has the Burpi designation and students would have a chance to access that information more readily, It's also on the Yonge subway line so people could hop from the Reference library down to Ryerson if they really need to access it both.

I'm biased though, I went to Ryerson.

It should be at city hall (wasn't it there at one point?) - I think they don't have the space there though. Maybe RF will make room?

Actually, this is a well-used library branch by many people who live downtown. It offers library services, and isn't just a specialized branch.
