Shops at Don Mills has most definitely been a major factor in the revitalization of the Don Mills & Lawrence area. It's quite a relaxing atmosphere. Despite having fewer stores, the experience is nothing like any of the major shopping malls which can be overcrowded and pushy.

I think the condos are needed to really make it work ... it never seems that busy when I go ... with one big exception ... the restaurants are always jammed pack, all of them !

The new ciniplex should help too.

I grew up within a 5-10 minute drive from Bayview Village and LOVED the place (still do, even though I don't go up much, anymore. Haven't been in months). I had my first ice cream there and even learned to walk there.
