Moving to Toronto

I used craigslist. Seemed to work pretty well.

Good luck!

Brandon,

Why not come here as a student? If you intend to live here, why not apply for a student visa and a work permit once you get here. You can study and work here. After all, a Canadian degree will help if you intend to make Canada home. And when you are done studying you'll also get PR if you find a job in your field.

On another note, I think there are rules about applying for extended visitor's permits while you have an application in for PR. You could get denied entry if you do that...as you will have demonstrated your intent to overstay. I am not a 100% on this, but I have heard of such cases before.

Some of you on the forum already know, but I put in a new Canadian Permanent Resident application in January.

Hmm, nice place for a condo conversion...

If you can provide me the funding to go to school in Canada, I might consider it. You have to have significant funding to go to school as an international students, or an unlimited credit line for student loans.

I say that jokingly of course, because going to school right now at this juncture is not an option financially.

We may not agree on everything...but on your efforts to migrate, I wish you the best of luck. Hope it works out for ya!
