Impossible from Streetview to get the shot from the top of the railway embankment.

I would argue this is just a slightly better angle though, in terms of mimicking the shot angle:

Certainly some amazing changes along Front St. since 1930...thanks DSC & Northern Light.
This single building appears to be the only one remaining----except for the Hockey Hall of Fame in the old bank at the corner of Yonge.
Once known as "Film House," a location for motion picture production offices, editing rooms and a film processing lab---c.1950s, 60s, 70s

Pringle and booth later moved to eglinton and Leslie. I worked there in the art department with john Russo , ron , jack Phyllis , Neil pedder and pino Sottile.

I believe they moved to Leslie St., in Don Mills when Moss Park took over George St.
and then , later on, moved to Woodbine Ave. in Markham.

I think they relocated again before changing names. I worked at Pringle and booth. In the 80’s in the art department with jack Phyllis, john Russo , ron , pino Sottile , Neil pedder. , what a great bunch

Nice to hear from another P&B employee.
I recall that name..Jack Phillis....he must have been at the George St. location in 1955.
I've often thought about the 2 studio photographers...Murray Dutchak & Peter Lucas.
I think they went into the motion picture business.....where are they now? Anyone know?

By the way, you may have already noticed...you have to be careful about repeating yourself.
