The Midtown Toronto Storm Sewer Relief Project involves construction of a large holding tank for stormwater to reduce or eliminate basement flooding issues in much of MidtownToronto.

Notable, in this report to CreateTO's March 8th Board meeting is a potential City Building project.

The City will require land in Memorial Park, which will cause an inconvenience to Forest Hill Collegiate and North Preparatory Junior Public School.

Some of the land the City requires is currently owned by the TDSB.

As such, CreateTO has been corralled to work out a deal with the TDSB that furthers City-Building.

It may result in redevelopment of one or more City-owned sites at this location, or elsewhere in Forest Hill or the Yonge-Eglinton area, likely with an eye to facilitating a new or replacement school for the TDSB.

Here's the report: https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2021/ra/bgrd/backgroundfile-164343.pdf

From said report:

The plan would see the City of Toronto become the owner of a portion of the Subject Property required for the installation of the below grade infrastructure. In exchange for acquiring a portion of the Subject Property, the City of Toronto would provide funding to TDSB towards the construction of a new public school in the general neighbourhood. Funding would come from Toronto Water's capital program for the MTSSRP.

there are a number of City owned sites currently being occupied by single use programs that are in proximity to the future Eglinton Crosstown LRT. These sites could potentially provide strategic opportunities to deliver additional programs and services to the community. The properties are outlined in the table belowand mapped in Attachment 4.

Additionally, in the Yonge and Eglinton area, there are a number of City owned properties that could be leveraged to support the recently updated Yonge-Eglinton Secondary Plan
