Shout out to Martin GROOVE at 4:45 mark of the drone video haha
One would imagine that after that the media team would be a little more careful.
A little off topic but, toronto had coal power plants?
In the USA, electric power companies (who also use coal) operated the electric streetcar companies. Until their anti-trust laws forced them to sell off the traction companies.Yup, the most recent shut down was Lakeview in Mississauga.
But before that was the Hearn right in the Portlands. Its still standing, but hasn't been in use for years, though the Nat. Gas powered Portlands Energy is right next to it.
the only difference between Finch and Hurontario is that one has a minuscule ttc logo and the other will have the logo of whatever private company that gets contracted to operate on Hurontario.say what you want about the Eglinton LRVs, at least they're not just black and white like these guys! Definitely lacking aesthetically. Hopefully Hurontario ends up with slightly nicer livery
They have a gray strip at the top but I guess the design doesn't allow it to extend down at the front.say what you want about the Eglinton LRVs, at least they're not just black and white like these guys! Definitely lacking aesthetically. Hopefully Hurontario ends up with slightly nicer livery
Considering the line has been changed to a gray line for whatever reason, at least that gray strip matches the line's colour!
