Madison Avenue Lofts Condos (Burnac Group) - Real Estate -

The transformer building next door gave me a headace on two seperate visits to the sales office.

I was always concerned about the following:

i. Transformers, next door;
ii. Railroad tracks, can see them on the map, here. I guess this depends on where your unit is;
iii. The location is "nice", but I dont think there are many amenities near by (a good restaurants or two, and Churchill Park to the north), but thats about it.

Nevertheless, people that I know who live in the building seem to love it.

i wouldn't buy there even if it was $200 per sq ft ..... i can't put a price on my health. Although there has been numerous studies done on living besides transformer/hydro stations, nothing conclusive has come out of it and the debate on it's long term effect continues from both sides.

The difference is like having a backyard compost versus a landfill next door.

No it's not.
Sounds more like some people who don't know anything about electricity or magnetism getting scared of the "unknown" (to them).
