Do you want to help make decisions to guide land use in neighbourhoods across Toronto?
The City of Toronto is seeking skilled and experienced residents to join the Committee of Adjustment, an independent quasi-judicial tribunal that hears applications for minor zoning variances and land severances. Applicants should have expertise in such areas as municipal law, urban planning, architecture, decision-making, and mediation.
Public hearings are generally scheduled every 2 to 3 weeks depending on the application volume in each district. Hearings are held on weekdays during business hours and can last from several hours to a full day. Members receive remuneration for their time.
Applications are due Friday December 30th at 4:30 p.m. For more information and to apply, visit https://secure.toronto.ca/pa/decisionBody/49.do.
