So I am surfing around on Wikipedia and I find this....

The City of Toronto's gross domestic product (GDP) is US$225 billion and Metropolitan Toronto's GDP is US$305 billion. Compared to other global metropolises, the size of Metropolitan Toronto's economy is 7th in the world (after New York City, London, Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles, and Chicago).

I am skeptical, it is from Wikipedia afterall. They are great for general but I never trust them for facts. If it is true that is definitely impressive for Toronto. What do you think?

Seems fairly plausible...though I'd like to see some attribution of course. The specificity of the figure suggests it's not just something someone made up.

At the same time, I would be very sceptical that the SF Bay metro. didn't have a bigger regional GDP.
