How about $100/2 months or $500/year. If you do this I can open the forum up to everyone again. Currently we avg. 10000 hits/day. If I open the forum up we could easily pass that level.

OK, $100.00 for 2 month sounds very reasonable. Perhaps we should declare right now that the whole idea is a 'work in progress' and that rates are subject to change, etc.
We have to work out mechanics. I'll make the payment soon, then we'll agree to meet somewhere and I'll give you my business card etc. and I'll show you my proof of payment.
I can draw up a basic contract as well. (It's a good idea to eliminate confusion from the start, "In exchange for your $100.00 I will give you ... etc" )
