No, this isn't joke, it's Pink Burger. That's not a medical condition, it's Toronto's newest burger chain, with a Sex and The City theme (again, I am not joking).

They are opening the first location in Aurora next month with plans to franchise across the city

If you dare, go to the website and check the menu, the thread title is an actual order  I also like how they have a menu item called "$12 fries" that costs $6.99.

The loud music that just made me almost jump out of my seat, the bad name. Ha. That turns me off ever wanting to even step foot in one of their restaurants.

^Why? Listening to the music on their website I thought of my old Mississauga days driving around listening to Z103.5 and Energy 108--very club goer 905 types. The folks who can't find much else to do on week nights other than sitting around watching TV. So they've got their target audience down--good marketing/business move! I'd probably take my gf here if I had a car.:) (rip (pre-June 30 1997) Energy 108--the best!)

Other than the silly name, I don't think it's wise for a would-be franchise to associate itself too closely with a waning pop-culture phenomenon.

You do realize people that live in the very city of Toronto do/did the exact same thing. Stop with the labeling. It's boring and ignorant.

Is it really though? All my friends that live in the 'burbs (and that includes a lot of the 416 built after about 1950) think that Burrito Boyz is the hot eatery, Sbux is where you get coffee, and shopping malls are the only places to hangout/shop at. Very strange.

Oh sure, they'll go clubbing once or twice a week downtown, but that's about all they see of the real city unless they work downtown too--and really, all they see is their commute and job site.
