Mind you, it can get pretty intense in the periodical reading room.

Man stabbed in fight at reference library
Nov. 11, 2006. 03:01 PM

STAFF REPORTER

An afternoon fight at the Toronto Reference Library, on Yonge St. north of Bloor St. left at least one man in hospital with stab wounds and another man in police custody today.

The fight broke out a little before 2:30 p.m. inside the six-floor library, police said shortly after the incident.

One victim was taken to hospital with what paramedics described as non-life threatening stab wounds to the head.

Police are currently investigating.

I hear his injuries wouldn't have been as severe had his calls for help not been met with shushes.

"I'm looking for a book on the Civil War."

"Don't you know the Dewey Decimal system?"

ABC Television in Australia are producing a six part series called The Librarians, which follows the adventures of two women - one a devout Catholic head librarian and the other her drug dealing ex-best friend who she has to employ as children's librarian. It is billed as a comedy - drama.

It's actually a case of life-is-stranger than fiction for me hearing this. One of my close friends is a librarian who...is a pot dealer. And I'm dating a hot librarian at one of the universities at which I'm employed, who looks stunning in her leather corset, PVC skirt, fishnets and high boots at the fetish nights we go to. We are both lapsed Catholics, so the show doesn't get it *quite* right...

What do you wear fiendish?

Full Frank N. Furter drag, I assume.

bb: I'm not saying ;) Needless to say though, my honey and I have a shopping trip to Northbound planned in the near future.

Alvin: She wears the collars :hat

fiendish:

Ha!

I wonder if there are fiendish sightings to be found at the Northbound fetish night gallery.

So, fiendish, do you look a bit (or dress a bit) like Conan the Librarian after all then?
