I HATE the "Christmas" Lights across Yonge Street!
Alright,
I knew it just wasn't me to notice how UGLY those Christmas lights are across Yonge Street. Last year's display was soooooooooooooooooo much better? Why the hell did they mess with a good thing? What's with the colours? Red, White and Blue? Those aren't Christmas colours at all??
Also, the lights under the canopy of Dundas Square are cool, yet tacky.
Also noticed that they FINALLY replaced the DEAD trees in front of College Park, about TIME!
Speaking of lights, I was pleasently surprised that the city fixed up the sidewalk/decorative bricks and replaced the street lights along Bay Street and under the Gardiner Expressway with the fancy green standard found throughout the Waterfront/Rogers Centre.
Such a small detail, but really helps with the overall look and feel of the street leading up to the waterfront.
