As of today, Guild been a busy beaver the last week or so as poles going up at John St today, did Paisley this week and a few others.

Everything north of Matheson to 407 is duel lane in both direction only with work in the northbound lanes between Matheson - 401 and in the southbound lanes from 401 to Top Flight.

Brampton has no construction signal intersection.

From Top Flight to Matheson, all intersections have working construction signals including the 401 ramps, considering none there last week.

The 2 plaza intersection south of Eglinton, Sq One Dr, Rathburn/City View, The Queensway and Mineola intersections have working construction signals. Sheroboee, Paisley, King St, Dundas have construction signals, but not working as well Rathburn. Still leaves a fair number of intersection to be done yet.

THe traffic signals at Hurontario and Pinetree way (just south of the QEW) have been installed for months but still not active. I guess they won't be activated until Hurontario is single lane in each direction.

The City of Brampton has posted the material for Public Information Centre No. 2: for Main LRT

Two options are being carried forward. One surface-tunnel, one surface-only. The two options are compared against each other. No new costing available. Timeline here:

If what was proposed already but cancelled by the previous council gets approved I will laugh and laugh and laugh.

Looks like this line will be getting a mixed-traffic bottleneck after all..

True progressive thinking would have dedicated lanes, a cycle track, and a single one-way car lane (or *gasp* a total transit mall with no car lanes)

A final decision has not been made on the two options, one of which does not feature mixed traffic.
