Hurontario LRT is supposed to end in the North end of Brampton, right ? This thread confuses me...

The Hurontario LRT was supposed to end at Brampton GO station as per the original plan.

That was then cancelled by Brampton city council in 2015.

However now they want it back, and they want an extension all the way to Snelgrove on Hurontario Street.

This is not planned for yet. We are discussing alternatives on the forum like we normally do.

It is too late!

North of Bovaird, the entire stretch is already built with traditional subdivisions with the backyards facing Hurontario......the west side has very, very little development land available.....zoned industrial. No one lives on Hurontario north of Bovaird.....something that is not likely to change.
For those interested in the ability to develop some density north of Bovaird on Hurontario......the piece of green land shown here at 10254 Hurontario (one of the last fully vacant bits) is in the process of becoming a 1.3 million square foot Canadian Tire warehouse/fulfillment centre.

Single story?

Probably will be hidden behind a berm.
