Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

There was a City of Brampton staff report (I've extracted it to Google Drive here) on the August 2020 Council agenda with an brief Hurontario LRT update. Councillor Fortini asked some questions. Time marked video here:

Had to drop off a couple of hard drives off for replacement and decided to to do a number of things at the same time.

Guild Electric getting ready to install construction traffic lights poles at 4 intersections starting at Britannia to Matheson. Gide wire support being install on the poles.

Took a shooting trip from the 407 stop to County Ct before running out of time on my transfer

The trees in the medium in Brampton are in a lot better shape than the ones in Mississauga and a shame they will bite the dust.

Can't see the MFS area from Hurontario or the 407 lot. 12 vehicles in the 407 parking lot

Looks like with the work on the 407 centre barriers also includes 2 new pier supports on both side of Hurontario St for new off ramps, allowing more room for the LRT.

Mississauga is a real city by any objective measure.
Except it doesn't have a downtown, other than a mall. The real downtown is at 5/10 aka Dundas/Hurontario

As for the Queen/Spadina look, standard thinking of council who prefer 4-6 story building look than things higher and in the park design.
