Toronto Howard Park Residences | 24.99m | 8s | Triumph | RAW Design

verticalvillage: To me it's one of the most under-rated projects on UT with only 45 forum entries.

I love it, too. Can't wait until Phase 2 is launched...hopefully this year! People are always commenting about how they want more Euro-inspired projects in Toronto. We have them. They just have to look for them :p

p.s. I love your enthusiasm. It's contagious and a nice break from doom and gloom. This is a project to be excited about.

Thanks!

I just hope the developer sticks to the renderings and incorporates vegetation on the balconies. If they do, this building will be a very interesting presence both on the street and from afar.

Where will phase 2 be located? Is there a UT Database page for it?

They will most definitely have the vegetation growing from the upper, metal clad levels and they will be maintained by the condo corp.

No database for Phase 2 yet (likely just expanded here once renderings, etc., become available). You can see the location of Phase 2 in Post #21 above, which is immediately to the west, but the buildings are shorter now, and actually much improved. Both buildings were redesigned to 8 stories each through the planning process and a working group and both are approved for development.

A few people have talked about the developer omitting that important feature. I don't see why they should. The plants will not be difficult to include, and from the looks of the rendering, will be small trees with low maintenance needs. Residents will also be able to water and tend to the plants I'm sure.

A crane!

Very cool project. Thanks for the photos. We aren't sure what's going on with silly photos of 'cranes' above, however. I hate when members ruin threads like that.
