Hong Kong has a lot of hiking trails that are not that far from the dense city centre. Heading out to Lantau past the airport is a trail through 3 mountains that eventually end at the fishing village of Tai O. It is not a difficult hike to span Kwun Yam Shan, Keung Shan, and Ling Wui Shan with plenty of ocean views and Hong Kong Island's towers in the distance.
