Hamilton: General Service Discussion

The downtown office blocks are half-empty and the major industrial employers have either shut down or are operating with a fraction of the staff they once did.

The vacancy rate for office space in downtown Hamilton is 18.2%.

My math maybe a bit rusty, I'm pretty sure that's a lot less than half.

I've read that the new HSR garage is expected to come online over the summer so its probably a fair assumption that all of the lower city routes will be moved over to it in the fall. Might even see some minor service changes due to less time spend deadheading to/from the mountain garage.

That is the plan. Several routes will shift to the new garage throughout the summer board period.
