Considering that the political appointees to the GTTA are the same people as GO Transit, that's not a good thing. And yet again, there's no Peel representative.

The only real bright light is Paul Bedford - exactly the type of person we need on the board, but more of them, and less Roger Andersons and Hazel McCallions.

"Pronto" was used with "Toronto" in the TTC Subway Song. Coincidence?

Not much of a coincidence considering that's the only word that rhymes with Toronto. And it isn't even English.

Exactly. Paul Bedford is one type that I have in mind, though I think the chair should be a bit more private and politically connected.
