Globe: Schools consider naming rights for donors

I think this has to be heavily regulated. This means that they can't have actual corporations donate, but only individuals, with priority going to alumni, faculty and parents (note, the private, girls-only Bishop Strachan School has the Rogers Wing, but it wasn't named after the company, as Ted Rogers' daughters are Old Girls of the school - there's a difference here) In other words, schools shouldn't expect to see, say, the Home Depot Design and Technology Studio or the Globe Media Resource Centre. It's probably a good idea for public schools to take a look at what private schools have done.
