Interesting. WCE's F59PHI locomotives (nos. 901-905) are being refurbished one at a time by "Progressive Rail" (ProgressRail?). I wonder if this is a loaner to allow them to return to pre-pandemic service frequencies? Is there also a No. 906?

906 exists but it is an MPI MP36PH-3C.

Also from what WCE appear to be saying it seems as though 907 will be a permanent addition to the fleet

It has been confirmed that WCE 907 is LTEX 18533, which was ex GO 533.

The CP-KCS merger was made official in name today. Looks like the new name is "CPKC" (not spelled out), and it's generally the current CP branding with KC slapped on the end.

Certainly seems like an accurate reflection of what's happened, that's for sure.

My interpretation of “not spelled out” is that it isn’t “Canadian Pacific Kansas City,” just CPKS.

I don't know what they are hauling, possibly mine concentrate, or maybe just sand. Something that has to be kept dry and not allowed to blow away. Video was likely taken fairly far south in mining country.

That same long curving trestle - which I believe is at Channing, just outside of Flin Flon - is visible around 6:15 of the video.

PS - Google satellite seems to show an awful lot of those cars at the mine in Flin Flon.
