Given all the curtains, it's a shame they didn't just use some sort of external shading. Environmentally it would make a lot of sense, and it only helps that it's a building use where end users are going to naturally want plenty of privacy.

Maybe I'm some kind of philistine, and I'm not "getting" the "art" here, but if I was a high-roller, and I arrived at this 5-star establishment after a long journey, I'd be pretty disappointed when I was welcomed by this:
