Filming on University Avenue on October 31, 2009??

Hello everyone!

If someone could help me with this, that would be great. I was walking down University Avenue yesterday (31/10/09) and came across some trailers and a crew. It looked like they were in the middle of filming. I didn't manage to ask anyone what the movie/show was, and I think I saw one of the actors on the street. I think it was outside/near the University Club of Toronto between Dundas and Queen Street.

It looked like a possible period piece - I am a big fan of anything filmed in Toronto, as well as period pieces and would be interested in seeing this if/when it shows!

The list on the city of Toronto site seems a bit out of date, plus it's hard to tell what titles might refer to a period piece.

Check it here.

If you caught the name of the production company, that might help.

One possibility...

"Murdoch Mysteries" is set in 1890s Toronto, but I have conflicting information as to whether they wrapped Season 3 on October 30th or are continuing until November 17th.
