I often remark that if I had any money, I’d invest in elevator repair companies for cities like Toronto. The number of tall towers has grown exponentially, and as any condo resident can tell you- these things are constantly breaking down.
I’m curious as to how many approved service companies we have in the GTA, and whether the city/province finds a way to incentivize growth in this sector.
We take in a lot of section 37 funds for neighbourhood improvements, often more cash for height- but I worry that we’re burdening existing elevator repair service. Thoughts?
