Urban Toronto seemingly is the only forum I've been to that has almost no time lapse before the forum settings require an edit tag. Is this a setting the management would consider changing? I almost always do a lot of editing within a minute or a few minutes after a post and hate seeing the "edited" tag with time stamp.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to change it to a generous 15 or 30 minute time lapse before it shows an edit stamp, that way we could edit a post, correct grammar and add links or points we didn't originally think of before requiring an edit time stamp? Most forums seem to follow this format and it seems like it'd be a better idea.
