Does UrbanToronto receive grants from the City?

Just a straight up question. It seems as the moderators can see no wrong in what ever the current administration does. Perhaps this is simply their personal opinion...

But even I can tell you the holes in all the other candidates.

I doubt UT gets any money, I would be surprised if it did. Spacing, I would believe. Not directly but as a recipient of ad dollars (again maybe). Yongestreetmedia.com on the other hand is paid for by the city.

No grants from the city. They did advertise for a little bit in the fall though. Economic Development Department.

It is? Funny that a site owned by a Detroit based firm would be paid for by the city while those of us based here are not.

YongeStreetMedia only reports positive news and is thus heavily corporate sponsored - the city is just one of its many backers.
