Dixie & Rathburn infill (Mississauga, 20 + 8s)

The proposed 20 and 8 storey buildings at Dixie/Rathburn will be rental apartments not condos.

Dixie between Burnhamthorpe and Rathburn (one fairly short block) is developing as a bit of a high-rise node. It's no City Centre, but we already have about seven high-rises on this block or within one block to the east, as well as this proposal, which may or may not finally be proceeding (there has been some opposition). A further building will almost certainly be proceeding at the SW corner of Dixie and Burnhamthorpe, adjacent to the public library.

It would be nice if someone did something imaginative with the parking lot of Rockwood Mall.

I really love how this development is eliminating the "Tower in a park" that is currently there. I love infill!
