Another year, another Pride. Despite the slightly smaller crowds, the garbage strike, the US passport requirements and the less-than-perfect weather, I think Pride 2009 was another roaring success!

We start on the Friday night with a rainbow-decked CN Tower.

We didn't see any of the Pride Parade, but here's the view from Yonge & Carlton during the parade.

An advertisement for a play we want to see was strung to a balcony at 22 Wellesley East.

Then it was off to the Wellesley Stage to see ABC!

By 8:00pm on Sunday, the crowds seemed to finally be just a thick as they'd been other years.

And the weekend ended with a night of dancing at Big Primpin' at The Phoenix.

Serious. I think this is the second year in a row they've forecasted rain only to have the sun peak out at the last minute before the parade starts.

Great photos from another great Pride!

it's great that the event has such a large corporate sponsor like TD. alot of times, large companies are afraid of offending various groups (you probably know what type of groups i'm talking about). some companies are reluctant to support such events due to the threat of boycotts by highly ignorant but very motivated nutjobs and their followers.

it takes alot of balls to stand up for what's right:
